Emillion, specialized in automating sign-on and user management in web applications, and Logica, the IT Services company, are tightening their cooperation. Logica can now offer Distal authentication as SaaS to their own customers.
The authentication fits organizations, which offer digital services or SaaS applications. For Logica’s customers Distal is a fast and easy way to bring the benefit of the authentication into their own operation as a service. The agreement makes it possible to buy Distal authentication and related professional services from Logica, either directly or as part of other services.
“User authentication and management as well as a great user experience are key issues in cloud applications. The ease of single sign-on and smooth integration, cost effectiveness and compatibility with other solutions were our key requirements”, says Tom Söderberg, CTO at Logica. “This is a very competitve area, with lots of solutions. The competing products require more adaption during rollout than Distal does in most cases.”
“The authentication is based on leveraging the intranet sign-on and user profiles. From the end customer’s point of view, getting and managing access to the service becomes much easier, which improves customer satisfaction and loyalty”, says Kjell Backlund, CEO at Emillion.
