Case Fonecta

Fonecta is part of European Directories SA and the market leader in directory services in Finland. Each day business and private customers use Fonecta's services to make 1,5 million searches. The turnover of Fonecta is 150 million euros and it employs 900 persons.

Distal was deployed at Fonecta in February 2005. Fonecta wanted to provide easy yet authenticated access to their corporate customers. Fonecta's customers also wanted to have cost centre specific invoices and reports. Fonecta chose Distal because it had all the necessary features, it fitted the technical environment well and it was very easy to roll out.

Currently Distal authentication is used 75.000 times each month. Overall 150.000 end users in leading companies (in a variety of industries) are served using Distal authentication.
